Keyboard Master

Hello my fellow bloggers, readers & blog-walkers,

Gaming keyboard

For this entry, I would like to talk about this item that most people used everyday called keyboard. Why do I choose this item for my entry? Well, I once saw a job which require copy-typing of words more than 8000 words. That is not a simple task for one who are not familiar with copy-typing in a very limited time around 2 to 3 days.

Then I got a flash back. When I was an undergraduate students on my 2nd year, I went for my Industrial Training. One of the assistant officer told me about how he learn to type faster. I bet some of you already know this trick. The trick is:

(1) Read and memorize the bold sentence below:

the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog

(2) Type that sentence over and over again
(3) You will be a typist master :)

Thanks for reading till end. Hope we will all be a "typist master" one day. Good luck and see y'all for the next entry.

Sonic Tomography - Tree's Doctor

Hello and welcome to my fellow bloggers, readers & also blog-walkers.

PiCUS Sonic Tomograph

This entry is about a tool or instrument called PiCUS Sonic Tomography. It is a tool to detect damage inside the tree trunk and show exactly where's the location of the damage within the tree. That is two of its feature which is very helpful in assisting arborist in maintaining the trees especially ornamental trees.

Sound wave travel slowly through damage (degraded) area

The tool used the concept of time of flight over distance between sensors. When a sound wave travel through a damaged tree trunk, the time of flight will be longer compared to a healthy tree.

Tomogram of internal tree trunk condition

Based on this formula, PiCUS Sonic Tomography generates an imagery called tomogram that shows the internal condition of using 3 groups of colour:

1. Brown/black (healthy tree)
2. Green (early degradation)
3. Violet/blue/white (severely damaged tree)

This technology is very reliable as it can shows the damage (along with percentage) and the location of damage at site which is highly recommended for maintaining the trees. Hopefully, it can be improve more to make it more reliable in the future such as smaller components (the equipments is packed in a big and heavy safety casing).

So, see y'all on the next entry.

My Asus Zenfone 5

Hello there fellow bloggers, readers and blog-walkers,

Asus Zenfone 5

Motorola Razr Maxx

I wanna share my experience with you all about Asus Zenfone 5 which I have been used for about 3 month (bought it on 1st day after my wedding day because my Motorola Razr Maxx broke down :'( ) .

The main thing that impress me about the phone until now is the fact that the chipset is Intel Atom Z2580!. Yes, it should be one of the fastest smartphone you could find today (according to Notebook Check site) and it truly is by the way I see it compared to my previous smart phone. Transition from one page to another is so smooth also thanks to the chipset.

Another features that excites me is the ZenLink i.e. Share Link & Remote Link. I have often used the Share Link feature where I can easily transfer things i.e. file, apps, gallery, etc. from my Asus Zenfone 5 to other Asus smartphone or tablet that build with this feature. It is more convenient than other file manager apps (this is only to express my feeling using this feature, not to say which apps is better).

So, I'm really happy with this new gadget and I recommend it to y'all that trying to find a mid-end smartphone (price group around RM500-RM1,000). I bought it at the price of RM519 (3 month ago price). Last but not least, see y'all on the next exciting entry.
